SAKHA / LEGAL
Privacy notice
How Sakha handles information on this pre-launch website and early-access list.
Last updated: 6 August 2026
1. Who is responsible
Kumar Saptam, Jhunsi, Prayagraj, India, is responsible for processing personal data described in this notice ("Sakha", "we", "us"). You can contact us about privacy at freedom@s-a-k-h-a.com.
This notice is written for visitors in the European Economic Area and supplements any rights that apply under local law. Where the GDPR applies to our processing, Kumar Saptam is the data controller.
2. Information we process
Early-access list
For the early-access list, we ask only for your email address. We do not ask for a name, profile information, location, or special-category data for this list.
Website operation
Our hosting provider may process technical data generated when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser and device information, request time, requested page, and security logs. This is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures.
Font delivery
The site currently loads fonts from Google Fonts. When those resources load, Google may receive technical request information, including your IP address. Google acts under its own privacy documentation for that processing.
3. Why we use it
- To send the launch information and early-access communications you request. Where GDPR applies, this is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a).
- To operate and secure this website. Where GDPR applies, this is based on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f).
- To meet a legal obligation, where applicable.
We do not sell email addresses or use them for behavioural advertising. We do not make automated decisions about you from the waitlist.
4. Sharing and international transfers
We use Vercel to host and operate the website and Neon to store waitlist email addresses. These providers process information only to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
Sakha is operated from India. Vercel and Neon may process data outside your country. If you are in the EEA or UK, this can involve an international transfer. Where GDPR transfer rules apply, we will use an appropriate transfer mechanism for the processing.
5. Retention
We retain your email address until you withdraw consent, the early-access programme closes, or 24 months pass after sign-up, whichever is earlier, unless a longer period is required by law. Technical logs are retained only for the period reasonably necessary for security and operations.
6. Your choices and rights
You can withdraw consent to early-access emails at any time by contacting us at the address above. Where GDPR applies, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may complain to your local data-protection authority; EEA residents may also contact the supervisory authority in their country of habitual residence, work, or alleged infringement.
7. Early-access list
The early-access form collects only the email address you submit. We use it for Sakha launch communications and early-access invitations. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
8. Changes to this notice
We will post any material change here and update the date at the top. If a change affects an active email list, we will notify subscribers where required.
